Manifesto The FOREST CHALET project in the French Alps is a manifesto of outdoor living elevated to an art form.
Our goal was to create an expansive, open-air sanctuary that harmonizes with the surrounding dense pine forest and the crisp alpine air. The core concept is "crafted wilderness": taking the rugged beauty of the natural environment and contrasting it with hyper-refined, low-profile lounge geometry.

OUR WORK TRANSLATES CONCEPTUAL IDEAS INTO COMPELLING VISUAL EXPERIENCES BY COMBINING EXACTING MATERIAL REPRODUCTION WITH REALISTIC LIGHTING AND AN EXCEPTIONAL APPROACH TO SPATIAL DETAILING.

It is a space designed for quiet mornings and prolonged evening conversations, where the boundaries between the dark architectural facade and nature are completely blurred by tall, swaying ornamental grasses.
Palette & Materials The material palette is meticulously designed to echo and complement the earthy, muted tones of the forest. We anchored the vast terrace with weather-resistant, textured rugs and natural wood decking. The seating features deep, tactile beige cushions set against intricately woven, dark brown structural frames that emphasize high-end craftsmanship. Distinctive geometric grid tables in solid wood and marble add a layer of sharp architectural detail, while bespoke leaf-shaped parasols provide organic, sculptural shade.
The dark, sleek exterior of the building serves as a dramatic, moody backdrop, allowing the soft natural tones of the furnishings and the vibrant greens of the pine trees to take center stage.
